Carolyn Ann "Suzie" Quick, 86, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 4:30 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

She was born on September 2, 1924 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Ralph R. and Martha W. Eads Seaman. She married Paul E. Quick on June 12, 1949 in Arthur, IL

After high school, Carolyn worked at Progress Industries in Arthur for 7 years. She later worked at the Villa in Arthur for 15 years in alterations.

She was a member of the Lake Fork United Church of Christ and the Women's Fellowship at the church.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with the Rev. Conrad Heisner officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, on Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lake Fork Cemetery, rural Atwood, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Lake Fork United Church of Christ or donor's choice.

Survivors include her husband: Paul, children; Marilyn (Alan) Brown of Meridian, MS, Tom (Donna) Quick of Macomb, IL, Julia (Bob) Wolf of Wamego, KS, David (Lauri) Quick of Tolono, IL, 7 grandchildren: Andrea (Kenny) Reynolds, Vanessa (Cole) Walker, Katie Quick, Mandy Quick, Jason Quick, Justin Quick, Megan (Riley) Pierce,
2 step-grandchildren: Jake (Kendra) Wolf and Josh (Janet) Wolf, 4 great-grandchildren: Miley Jo Pierce, Rylan Wolf, Maxxen Wolf, and Olivia Wolf, 3 brothers: Bob (Kathryn) Seaman of Glen Cove, Long Island, NY, Harold (Pauline) Seaman of Dyersburg, TN, and Richard "Bud" Seaman of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She loved flowers, crafts, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and family.
