Carolyn Marie Bowles Fleming, 67, of Tuscola, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:47 a.m., at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL, surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn was born on August 31, 1947 at Jarman Hospital in Tuscola to Kenneth and Dorothy Schoppe Bowles of Villa Grove. She graduated from Villa Grove High School. Carolyn married James Fleming in 1964, formerly of Oakland. He survives.

She is survived by her children: Cathy (Randy) Wallace of Tuscola, Doug Fleming of Newman and Melissa (Michael) Browning of Aurora, CO; grandchildren: Skyler and Jaden Browning both of Aurora, CO, Jarrett Wallace of Tuscola, brother: Robert Bowles of Lerna and sister: Linda Belk of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Edith Marie and special aunt: Edith Winberg.

Carolyn enjoyed life, especially being with her three grandsons. She loved to go watch them play sports and other activities. Carolyn loved playing cards with her family and friends.

She was loved so much by her family and friends and will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A memorial reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Tuscola First Christian Church, 100 East Church Street, Tuscola, IL. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
