Carol Dee Weemer, born on May 31, 1939, in Mattoon, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, George Weemer; her two sons, Tom Weemer and his wife Gilma, and Steve Weemer and his wife Megan, along with their sons Payton and Luke, whom Carol treasured as her grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Tom Cox.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Julie Weemer. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Carol dedicated her life to taking care of her family, always putting their needs first.
Carol was an exceptional cook and a master cross-stitcher. She owned the Country Sampler cross-stitch shop with her good friends Dee and Betsy, where she shared her passion for the craft with others.
