Carol D. Martin, 76, of Champaign, IL, formerly of St. Joseph, IL, passed away at 12:20 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Private family graveside services will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Carol was born on July 19, 1937 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Russell and Margaret Jones Combs. She married Harold L. Martin on July 23, 1955 in St. Joseph, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include her daughters: Margie (Jim) Lee of Tuscola, Judy (Stacy) Nichols of Mansfield and Janet Martin (David Weisman) of Champaign, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers: David Combs of Urbana and Wayne Combs of Albuquerque, NM

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Donald Combs.

Carol formerly worked at Super Valu in Urbana, IL.
