Carol Garnet Bandy Clark, 56, of Arcola, died at 11:33 am Saturday, October 5, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident in Coles County.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Donald Winch will officiate.

Carol was born June 21, 1960 in Tuscola, the daughter of William and Betty Fleace Bandy. She married Stan Clark on April 3, 1980 in Arcola.

Survivors include her husband, Stan Clark of Arcola; son, Erik Clark of Arcola; 3 daughters, Jalena Romine of Arcola; Jennifer Baca of Arcola; Melissa Clark of Arcola; brother, Mike Bandy of Ramsey; 2 sisters, Debbie Anderson of Arcola; Sue Bandy of Port Washington,New York; and 5 grandchildren.

Carol graduated from Arcola High School Class of 1978. She worked part time at the Arcola School Cafeteria. She loved being a mom and loved babysitting her grandchildren.
