Carol "Pud" Babbs, 78, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at January 16, 2010 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL, with Father Barry Harmon officiating. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Carol was born oon December 11, 1931 in Jasper County, IL, the daughter of Aloysious and Clara Hipp Helregel. She married Warren Dale Babbs on April 19, 1955 in Camargo, IL. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1997.
Survivors include a son: Bill Babbs of Tuscola, 2 daughters: Bonnie Babbs of Urbana, Nancy Babbs of Neoga, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Imogene Dorn of Robinson
She was preceded in death by parents, son: Nick Babbs, grandson: Josh Babbs, great-granddaughter: Kenzie Babbs and a brother.
Memorials may be made to the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, Tuscola, IL
Carol formerly worked as a CNA at the Douglas Nightingale Nursing Home for 25 years. She was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church.
