Carlton "Buck" Lindsey, 89, of Arcola, died at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Arcola Health Care Facility.

Carlton was born May 31, 1929 in Butler County, Kentucky, the son of Leburn and Nola Cardwell Lindsey. He married Annie Marie Embry in Hartford, Kentucky on March 6, 1946; she preceded him in death on February 23, 2013.

He is survived by one son, Dwight (Faith) Lindsey of Arcola; sisters, Maxine West and Kathlene Childress; and 3 grandchildren, Steven Lindsey, Kai Lindsey, and Jill Howen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; son, Dwayne; brother, Charles; sisters, Berthlene Flener; Mae Lou Flener; and Joyce Sue Phelps.

Carlton farmed in the Arcola area for many years. He was a member of the Arcola Masonic Lodge.

There will be no local services. Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
