Burton W. Wiesener, 59, of Tuscola, IL died at 6:25 A.M. Friday, April 28, 2006 at his home.
Funeral Services will be 10 AM, Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, 901 North Prairie Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Bruce Baumberger officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main St., Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with military graveside rites.
Mr. Wiesener was born on August 2, 1946 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Boyd W. and Harriett J. Reeder Wiesener. He married Darlene B. Reifsteck on September 18, 1971 in Sadorus, Illinois. She survives.
Other survivors include: Step-Mother: Ruth Turner Wiesener of Tuscola, IL, 3 Daughters: Jenny Wiesener of Tuscola, IL, Carrie Wiesener of Tuscola, IL, Kelli Manning and husband: Rob of Urbana, IL, 1 Brother: Jim Wiesener and wife: Martha of Tuscola, IL, 1 Step-Brother: Curt Turner and wife: Phyllis of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Wiesener farmed north of Tuscola for many years. He was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church. He was a 1964 graduate of Tuscola Community High School. He was currently serving on the Tuscola Township Board, on which he as been a trustee since 1989. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hilligossshraderfh.com
