Brian Douglas Klay, 31, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 6:06 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with the Rev. Lanny Faulkner officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL
Brian was born on April 4, 1978 in Decatur, IL, the son of Douglas Klay and Janet Dukeman Mattingly. He married Marcena E. Kline on June 20, 1998 in Monticello, IL.
She survives.
Other survivors include his daughters: Madison, Brianne and Hannah Klay all at home, father: Douglas Klay of Tuscola, IL, mother: Janet Dukeman Mattingly of Tuscola, IL, brothers: Phillip Klay of Atwood, IL and Zachariah Mattingly of Tuscola,IL, sisters: Julie Taylor of Oakwood, IL, Taylor Mattingly and Ashley Mattingly both of Tuscola, IL, 6 nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Gabrielle Mattingly
Brian loved playing music and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his angel and her babies.
