Brenda L. Franklin, 51, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 1:40 pm, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Private family interment services will be held at the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL
Brenda was born on July 3, 1960 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Terry Van Dorn and Erma Dobbs. She married Jack Franklin on November 18, 1978 in Tuscola, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother: Erma Sutton of Atwood, father: Terry Van Dorn of Tuscola, sons: Matt (Valerie) Franklin and Terry (Tory) Franklin both of Tuscola, sisters: Teresa Watters and Linda Dallas both of Tuscola, Vicki Carter of Hugo, grandsons: Hunter Franklin, Christian Franklin, Jaxon Franklin and Tyler Franklin
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Brenda worked for Schrock Cabinets in Arthur for 20 years. She also worked at CHI in Arthur for 10 years.
Brenda enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles and spending time with her grandsons.
