Brenda Faye Allen, 64, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Gordo, AL passed away at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Tuscola Health care Center, Tuscola, IL
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Ms. Allen was born on September 12, 1950 in Montgomery, AL the daughter of James and Nellie Elmore Mills.
Survivors include her children: James Christopher Allen, Michael Wayne Allen and Tara Lynn Martin all of Tuscola; 4 grandchildren: Natasha Lynn Martin, Kimberly Kay Martin, Deanna Kay Allen and Ashlynn Jetton Allen; 2 great-grandchildren: Jaxson Alexander Smith and Oliver Atlas Martinez; her mother: Nellie Mills of AL; 2 brothers: Randy and Kevin of Alabama; and 3 sisters: Sharon of AL and Donna and Carolyn of MI.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Brenda was a Chicago Cubs fan and an Alabama football fan. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved Elvis, dancing, baking and her dog "Gabby".
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
