Boyd W. Wiesener, 89, of Tuscola, IL, died at 10 AM, Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, 901 North Prairie Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Bruce Baumberger officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Masonic Services at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Mr. Wiesener was born on May 27, 1916 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Herman A. and Emelie Rahn Wiesener. He married Harriett Jean Reeder on September 4, 1940 in Tuscola, IL. She preceded him in death on March 22, 1985. He married Ruth Haines Turner on June 12, 1987 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Jim Wiesener and wife: Martha of Tuscola, IL, Burt Wiesener and wife: Darlene of Tuscola, IL, 1 Step-Son: Curt Turner and wife: Phyllis of Decatur, IL, 1 Sister: Phyllis A. Groff of Victor, Montana, 5 Grandchildren: Amy Taylor, Jenny Wiesener, Carrie Wiesener, Jeff Wiesener, Kelli Manning, 2 Step-Grandchildren: Debbie Johnson, Aaron Turner, 3 Step-Great-Grandchildren and 2 Nieces.

Mr. Wiesener was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church. He was a 1934 Graduate of Tuscola Community High School. He was a 50 year member of the Tuscola Masonic Lodge #332, AF & AM and a member of the Commandry. His passion in life was farming. He was an avid and skilled fisherman and hunter.
