Bonnie Belle Mason, 83, of Arcola, died at 11:07 AM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at10:30 AM Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Arcola United Methodist Church, 121 S. Locust, Arcola, with Rev. Vince Rohn officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola.

Bonnie was born May 21, 1932 the daughter of Clyde and Neva Thomas Ramsey. She married Bruce Edward Mason on May 5, 1951 in Los Angeles, California; he preceded her in death on May 9, 2015.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Hemann of Mattoon; Dianna (John) Pangburn of Tuscola; Vickie (Dan) Gullion of Arcola; 6 grandchildren, Kim (Ed) Roley of Mattoon; Shannon (Steve) Phillips of Neoga; Jeremy (Jennifer) Gullion of Arcola; Tiffany (Kevin) Gullion-Krieg of Wood River; Shane Pangburn of Los Angeles, California; Steve (Suzanna) Pangburn of Champaign; great grandchildren, Lane, Kylee, Luke, Danny, Lincoln, and Gwen; brothers, Granville "Bud" Ramsey of Charleston; Homer (Lena) Ramsey of Arcola; sister, Frances (Bob) Wells of Camargo. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Johnnie; sisters, Bessie Miller, Neoma Harvey, and Louise Pierson.

Bonnie was a graduate of Arcola High School Class of 1950. She had worked at the Arcola First National Bank as a bank teller/cashier for over 30 years. After retirement, she continued to work there part time.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her family always came first. She loved to cook, especially for large family gatherings.

Memorials are suggested to the Arcola United Methodist Church or the Arcola Lion's Club.
