Beverly K. Young, 71, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:11 pm, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL as a result of a fall.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Jerry Silver and Rev. Scott Zorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm on Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.

Beverly was born on February 6, 1939 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of James and Pansy Hertenstein Downing.

Survivors include 2 sons: Terry Young of Westfield, IN, Jeff Young of Wheaton, IL, 4 daughters: Tami Ray of Tuscola, IL, Lorie Dallas of Tuscola, IL, Kelly McConnell of Bellevue, NE, Beth Wehrle of Arthur, IL, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren,
1 brother: Dick Downing of Taylorville, IL, 3 sisters: Lyn Adams and Geri Stewart both of Decatur, IL, Karen Lyons of Bellville, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brother-in-laws.

Beverly worked as caregiver at Jarman Center in Tuscola for several years. She was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, Tuscola.
