Beulah C. Bailey, 100 of Arthur, IL, formerly of Clearwater, FL, died 2:38 AM Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 West 38th St., Indianapolis, IN with the Rev. Veronica Don officiating. No Visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Bailey was born February 20, 1906 near Atwood, IL, the daughter of Charles M. and Anna Wilson Collins. She married Hillary G. Bailey on February 5, 1928 in Marion County, IN. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1988.

Survivors include 2 Nephews: John Schable of Tuscola, IL; Wayne Schable of Atwood, IL; 3 Nieces: Mary Ann Swartz of Atwood, IL; Barbara Rhoads of Paris, IL; and Katherine Drake of Tuscola, IL; 11 Great Nieces & Nephews and 23 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Infant Brother and 2 Sisters: Elizabeth Schable and Mary Helen Clausen Romine.

Mrs. Bailey was a 1924 graduate of Atwood High School and a1928 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Beulah and her husband had lived in Atlanta, GA and Clearwater, FL since the early 1940's. She moved to the Arthur Home in December 2004 to be closer to her family.
