Betty J. Wilhelm, 79, of Garrett, IL, reunited with her children in heaven, surrounded by her family at home on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL
Betty was born on December 25, 1931 in Galton, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Helen Riley Ullrich. She married Joe Johnson. He preceded her in death in May 1963. She married Ray Wilhelm on December 31, 1970. He survives.
Other survivors include her children: Jim (Debbie) Foster of Tuscola, Janice (Dan) Ochs of Oakland, Jacki (Mike) Redmiles of Hammond, Rusty (Kelly) Wilhelm of Atwood, step-son: Jack (Pat) Johnson of Atwood, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters: Clarice Hausman of Tuscola and Annie (Bill) Fleming of Camargo, IL
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three of her children.
Memorials are suggested to the Wilhelm family.
She enjoyed country music and going to concerts with her sisters. She loved to go camping, watch wrestling, she couldn't miss a day of her soaps, being around people and spending time with her family.
