Betty "Betty Lou" Garrett, 75, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:26 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held at from 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Garrett was born on May 16, 1933 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Wilson L. and Thelma F. Brinkley Hatchel.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: Dale Garrett of Atwood, IL, Dave Garrett and John Garrett both of Tuscola, IL, 2 Daughters: Nancy Decker of Sadorus, IL, Debbie Walters of Boneville, MO, 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Robert A. Garrett and a brother: Bill Hatchel

Betty formerly worked at Littlefuse. She loved to play bingo and have a good time.
