Betty G. Harting, 75, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:50 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Arcola Health Care Center, Arcola, IL.
No services will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Betty was born on January 21, 1940 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Clive and Eva Ann Curtis Bartley. She married Leroy C. Harting on May 24, 1958 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2014.
Survivors include her daughter: Pam Sanders and husband: Eugene of Tuscola, sister: Jo Doty of Eddyville, Kentucky and sister-in-law: Janet Bartley of Tuscola.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her friends: Willard and Deanna Stone and Jolene Young. She had an extra special friendship with Debi and Dylan Scott.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter: Amy Cruzan, brothers: Roy and Randy Bartley and sister: Frances Foster.
Betty was the administrator at the Tuscola Health Care Center and Douglas Nightingale Manor for over 30 years.
Memorials are suggested to the Arcola Health Care Center or Harbor Light Hospice.
