Betty Lee Bandy, 90, of Arcola, died at 5:47 AM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Palm Terrace, Mattoon.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Arcola Cemetery. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Betty was born July 13, 1925 in Corydon, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Zetta Saulmon Fleace. She married William R. Bandy in Corydon, Indiana, on June 27, 1946; he preceded her in death on September 5, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Suzanne) Bandy of Ramsey; 3 daughters, Debbie (Phil) Anderson of Arcola; Sue Bandy of Port Washington, New York; Carol (Stan) Clark of Arcola; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and sister, Lynda Knear of Clarksville, Indiana.
Betty retired as a bookkeeper from Humboldt Bin Company. She served as a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Memorials are suggested to the Arcola Public Library or Special Olympics.
