Obituary
Bernadine Kinney, 93, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 1:41 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Private Family Graveside Services will be held with the Rev. Patty Johansen and Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Kinney was born on January 8, 1916 in Hume, IL, the daughter of Harry and Beulah Fern McMullen French. She married Delbert L. Kinney on September 27, 1947 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1998.
Surviving is her son: Leon D. Kinney of Tuscola, IL
Bernadine worked at the Matinee Store and she was a cashier at the Strand Theater for ten years. She helped her husband "Delbert" and her son "Leon" in the electrical business for thirty-three years as bookkeeper, chief cook and bottle washer. She was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church.
Memorials are suggested to an Animal Shelter of the Donor's Choice or Carle Hospice.
