Barry P. Welch, 68, of Arcola, IL, passed away at 2:36 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Arcola Health Care Center, Arcola, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust St., Arcola, IL. Burial will be in the Arcola Township Cemetery, Arcola, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mr. Welch was born September 19, 1948 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Loren and Mary Ann Borntreger Welch. He married Bobbi Wagle in July 1970 in Arthur, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter: Tisha Welch of Arcola, IL; brother: Larry Welch of Arthur and many nieces and nephews.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Jerry Welch.

Barry worked for RR Donnelley for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, reading and going to movies. Barry was a master gardener and loved being outdoors. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
