Barbara Catherine Reinhart, 90, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Mattoon, IL, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen St., Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Tuesday at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Barbara was born March 19, 1928 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Virgil and Gertrude Hertrider Ferree. She married George E. Reinhart on July 12, 1950 in Mattoon, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include a son: Michael E. Reinhart and wife Maria of Tuscola, IL; daughter: Mona E. Reinhart of Temple, TX; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Bernard Ferree of Springfield, IL; 3 sisters: Rosemary Betty of Mattoon IL; Evelyn Dasenbrock and husband Carl of Cobden, IL and Kathleen "Katy" Briles and husband Bob of Nashville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Paul and James Ferree.

Memorials are suggested to the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church.
