Obituary
Barbara I. Honn, 81, of Arcola, died at 10:26 AM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Rev. Vince Rohn officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born July 2, 1931 in Arcola, the daughter of Asa and Minnie Hood Bryant. She married James Honn in Arcola on March 5, 1950.
Survivors include her husband Jim Honn of Arcola; 3 sons, Doug (Sheila) Honn of Tuscola; Jeff (Sherry) Honn, Jay (Cindy) Honn all of Arcola; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Barbara worked as a clerk at Arrol's Drug Store in Arcola for many years. She was an avid Illini and Cubs fan.
