Barbara Sue Keller, 83, of rural Mattoon, IL passed away at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Monday, September 15, 2014 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dorans, IL, with Pastor Paul Hopkins officiating.Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 pm, Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 204 North Locust Street, Arcola, IL. Burial will be in the Humboldt Cemetery, rural Humboldt, IL.

Mrs. Keller was born August 10, 1931 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of James William and Ruth Lozier Handley.
She married John B. Keller on December 3, 1955 in Mattoon, IL. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2012.

Survivors include her children: Sarah Keller-Newby of Charleston, IL; Bill Keller and wife Jane Humboldt, IL; Charles R. Keller and wife Andrea of Neoga, IL; Jesse A. Keller of Mattoon, IL; Mark H. Keller and wife Judy of Mattoon, IL;
grandchildren: Wes Keller of Humboldt, IL; Brock Keller and wife Maren of Bloomington, IL; Scott Keller of Columbus, OH; Kregg Keller of Mattoon, IL; Caleb Newby of Charleston, IL, J.C. Keller and Luke Keller both of Neoga, IL, Tim, Kaleb and Justin Yurs all of Neoga, IL, great-grandchildren: Calvin and Harper Keller both of Bloomington, IL, brother: Michael J. Handley and wife Lou of Scottsdale, AZ and sister: Sidna Reavis of Mattoon, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Ross Newby and brother: Lt. Col. James Handley

Barbara was a business partner in the family farm and was a homemaker. She was the valedictorian of the last graduating class from Humboldt High School in 1949. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mattoon.
