Barbara J Duzan, 62, of Ivesdale, IL, passed away at 1:44 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Arthur Home, Arthur, IL
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Private family interment will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.
Barbara was born on October 14, 1951 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Alvin and Barbara Louise Gallion VanDorn.
Survivors include her children: Kenneth (Laura) Bragg of Tolono, Cynthia (Gary) Brewer of Ivesdale, Melanie (Robert) Dunbar of Hawaii.
Siblings: Terry Lee VanDorn (deceased), Twin sister Beverly VanDorn (deceased), Debra (Bernie) Mitsdarffer of GA, Gary (Diane) VanDorn of FL, Becky (Marty) Swinford of Tuscola.4 grandsons: Jake, Jeff, Josh and Sammy and a granddaughter: Nicole.
Barb's children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She never missed an opportunity to be with them and her sisters. Family was the most important thing to Barb. She loved playing games, laughing and having a great time at family gatherings. Barb was a social bug who loved helping others and keeping busy. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, crocheting, and knitting. When she was able she loved gardening and enjoyed her many plants.
