Audrey J. Groves, 86, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Mike Zylstra officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Audrey was born on October 20, 1928 in Moultrie County, IL, the daughter of Floyd and Lula Graven Harris.

She married Fred H. Groves on September 22, 1956 in Douglas County, IL. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1976.

Survivors include her children: Bill (Paula) Evans of Okeechobee, FL, Marvin (Sue) Evans of Morris, IL, Terry (Brad) Hornaday of Tuscola, IL, daughter-in-law: Patti Groves of Tuscola, IL, Donna (Duane) Hunter of Charleston, IL and Fred "Hank" (Denise) Groves of Tuscola, 9 grandchildren: Greg Evans, Chad Evans, Wes Evans, Eric Evans, Ryan Hornaday, Bradley Hornaday, Scott Groves, Holly Donnals and Emily Groves, 14 great-grandchildren, twin brothers: John and Joe Harris both of Tuscola, IL and sister: Jane McNeil of St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Everett "Jake" Groves, grandson: Cliff Groves, brothers: Bill, Don, Charles and Stan Harris and sister: Mary McManus

Audrey was a 1946 graduate of Sullivan High School. She was a retired US Postal Worker and a member of the Tuscola and Villa Grove Christian Churches.

Audrey loved spending time with her many family members, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed working on her family genealogy.
