Obituary
Arnold E. Sablotny, 75, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 12:26 A.M., Sunday, April 27, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.
Graveside Services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Hammond Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. There will be no visitation. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Sablotny was born January 6, 1933 in Decatur, IL, the son of Elmer and Helen Matthews Sablotny.
He married Lois J. Conour in Decatur, IL on December 5, 1964. She preceded him in death September 10, 2004.
Survivors include many Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and 2 Brothers.
Mr. Sablotny was an Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Mueller Company where he worked in the foundry. He was a member of VFW Post #99 and Decatur Eagles Lodge #507.
