Obituary
Annie Marie Lindsey, 87, of rural Arcola, died at 11:30 AM Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
Marie was born July 16, 1925 in Morgantown, Kentucky, the daughter of Wallace and Lillie Embry. She married Carlton Lindsey on March 6, 1946 in Hartford, Kentucky.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton Lindsey of Arcola; son, Dwight (Faith) Lindsey of Arcola; sister, Mae Embry of Fort Knox, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Lindsey; and 5 brothers.
Marie retired from Collegiate Cap and Gown where she was a floor supervisor.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Kentucky. There are no local arrangements.
