Neoma Ann Cox, 80, of Charleston died at 7:50 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Arcola Cemetery.

Ann was born December 4, 1943 in Hindsboro, the daughter of Malcolm and Louise Ramsey Pierson.  She married Millard "Gene" Cox in Charleston on September 19, 1960; he preceded her in death on November 12, 1997.

Survivors include one son, David (Brenda) Cox of Charleston; daughter, Kimberly Cox of Charleston; 3 brothers, Francis Pierson of New Berlin, Wisconsin; Gene Pierson of Arizona; Chris Pierson of Arkansas; 1 sister, Nancy Kelly of Charleston; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 2 sons, Michael and Brad Cox.

Ann was a graduate of Oakland High School and was a member of the Hindsboro Methodist Church.
