Anita B. Wierman, 89, of Morristown, IN, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away at 1:00 a.m., EST, Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Morristown Manor, Morristown, IN
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., CST, Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with her grandson: Chad Riley officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL
Mrs. Wierman was born on May 7, 1920 in Atwood, IL, the daughter of George and Dora Stovall Wilkison. She married Cedric Wierman on May 14, 1939 in Delphi, IN. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1982. She married William Pifer in 1986. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Carole Curry of Greenfield, IN and Jeanne Kidwell of Indianapolis, IN, 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren
Mrs. Wierman was a homemaker and she worked for 15 years as a clerk in the Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance Center.
