Anita Jean Finch, 69, of Noblesville, Indiana, formerly of Arthur, died at 9:00 am on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Effingham.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Arthur Cemetery with Brother Richard Grey officiating. Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Anita was born March 4, 1947 in Vandalia, the daughter of Robert and Clara June Jay McMillan. She married Paul Finch, Jr. in Arthur on April 3, 1970; he survives.
Survivors include her husband Paul of Noblesville, Indiana; 2 sons, John Finch and Paul Finch III both of Noblesville, Indiana; 4 daughters, Marcy Dial of Clinton, Illinois; Heather (Jeremy) Gimble of Anna, Texas; Anna Finch of Bloomington, Illinois; Melody Finch of Noblesville, Indiana; 3 sisters, Roberta (Bill) McDaniel of Bethany; Barbara (Larry) Johnson of Greenwood, Indiana; Susan (Jeff) Maxwell of Tuscola; brother, Doug McMillan of Arthur; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Louise; and brother, Bob.
Anita graduated from Arthur High School Class of 1964. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Arthur Home. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Heyworth. Anita loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed making doll clothes.
