Amie Sue (Vance) Ade, 44, of Arcola, died at 5:37 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. For the past 10 years, she has fought a courageous battle against ALS.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Humboldt Cemetery with Rev. Scott Sims officiating. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Amie was born August 26, 1969 in Mattoon, the daughter of Fred and Janet Sue Sims Vance.

Survivors include her daughter, Hali Ade and her fiancee' Dylan Roderick of Mahomet; her son, Hayden Ade of Mahomet; parents, Fred and Jan Vance of Humboldt; significant other, Kyle Wingler of Arcola; sister, Sara Harwood of Charleston; nieces and nephews; and great niece.

Amie was a graduate of Mattoon High School Class of 1987 and then attended Lakeland College. She loved to read on her Kindle and was an avid Illini fan.

Memorials are suggested to the Arcola Public Library.
