Alan David Sebens, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2016 in Bozeman, Montana after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Per his request cremation rites were accorded.
A celebration of Alan's life will be held on Sept. 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Dennis Hanner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Alan was born November 5, 1949 in Tuscola, IL., son of Dale H. and Mary Jo (Larimer) Sebens. He was educated in the Tuscola schools and graduated from Western Illinois University. He retired in 2002 from Marsh & McLennan Co. of New York. He married Cheryl Carnine in Tuscola in l978.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; his father and step-mother, Dale and Shirley Sebens, Clinton, IA; two brothers, Curt (Patsy) of Gondola, IL.; Greg (Karen) of Atwood, IL.; two step-brothers, Richard Kibler of Ft. Myers Beach, FL. and David (Velda) Kibler of Camanche, IA.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo; an infant sister; his grandparents, Frank and Callie Sebens and Donald and Eleanor Larimer.
Memorials can be directed to your favorite charity.
